Now that I have the working title the light is just not right for the picture. Not just photographically, there are reasons this is a grey season. Yet the reason for this post is not to focus on the grey. It is to patiently look forward as we physically and mentally walk into the green season. Today we are one day closer to that very real and very much approaching greening of the season. A full month of February is still in the wings. We have come this far. And there is a flower for each day until the flowers of spring take over. When we break it down like that, well winter is indeed like the name of this next flower, a Limited Edition. Another beauty from the garden of John Lambert. A classic straight out of the sixties and still going strong.
There is always a reason to step into the garden. Even in winter.
