There will be a half moon on the solstice. That is if we can see the moon at all. The Lake Erie cloud generator will be our major weather factor most of the winter season. Unless perchance it should freeze over some time this winter. The full moon will arrive on December 28, 2012. So if it fits in with your solstice celebration get out and howl at the moon or in its general direction if clouds get in the way. You can take your queue from this twisty curly beauty, Bark At Me. Then curl up with a warming libation.
