Autumn Minaret

It appears I have talked about the seedlings of Autumn Minaret and not the parent.  This plant blooms on tall scapes in the 6 foot range.  It has been blooming for 30 days and it will continue for a few more.  The plant multiplies well producing several bloom scapes with 4 inch yellow trumpets.  Not such a bad way to signal the closing of bloom season with daylilies.

I’m pretty sure I selected a couple of you 2012 crosses from your AM lines, and come spring I will have to sow some of them; where I’ll go from there is yet to be determined! I already have a few tall, though not 6 feet tall! Some of my Mahieus are close though!
