Connecting the dots..

This flower is supposed to be Vintage Victorian.  It does not look quite like the official description.  However it sure looks like it is the correct flower.  It is just that the weather or soil chemistry or some other environmental factor is shifting the colors on this one.   The eye zone looks white instead of purple ( compare this image to the link above ).   If the flower ever takes on the listed colors I will enjoy that form.  For now this one is quite interesting.  While it is not white on white – that is the easiest way to describe the gentle hues the flower is sporting.
