One of my favourite trees .. especially in the Autumn.
they are pretty. though gardening right next to one does have its challenges. the seed pods rolling all over the garden are a bit of a nuisance. still they are not as bad as the hail of ripe black walnuts. for those one wants to have a helmet handy !

I love the shapes and colors of sweetgums’ leaves, and perhaps even more so, the lovely and evocative name Liquidambar! Nice shots. 🙂
