this hydrangea was also in the garden we visited. one of these days i will read up on the flower structure of hydrangeas. it is curious the big and little combination to these flowers. and also very beautiful. enjoy… three images

I never would have guess this was a hydrangea. It doesn’t look like any other I have seen.

This is the colour and style of hydrangea I like best. I saved a plant of it after my daughter’s wedding party and grew it, but for the last two years it has flowered bright pink – in spite of efforts to dose it with ericaceous feed.
