wild chance

okay so you really cannot stop and smell the flowers – over the internet – that is.  still no app for that.  stopping to look.  or even better going out of the way to look, some days that is better than the other options.  so take a wild chance and look.  besides most daylilies are not noted for their irresistible fragrance.  gee i hope i did not say that last part out loud.  the only time i notice a fragrance is when i am digging them.  fragrance of root…   back to the flower igor !   so here is our chance for today.  enjoy.  two images…

You wrote: ‘the only time i notice a fragrance is when i am digging them. fragrance of root… ‘. I like that horticultural intimacy.

But some other references talk about certain daylily flowers that have noticeable fragrance. What if your collection included a corner of these ‘so-called fragrant’ daylillies? Just wondering… 🙂
