hey,John, what are your two favorite flowers? 🙂
two is 200 short a list. probably a couple of seedlings or 20 and then some of the registered ones. and then there is blood root. simple and completely stunning. this is one of the favorite seedlings…. https://aneogarden.wordpress.com/2013/08/30/seedlings-the-next-generation/
i think you have a special fondness for lilies. yep, you do! 🙂
i am thinking of planting a winter garden this year. maybe grow some cabbage. when will you start your spring planting?
I don’t plant any veggies any more. just have raspberries left. the daylilies go right in the ground anywhere from mid April to late June.
a master gardener told me i’d have to plant a seven foot fence to keep the critters out..which is not doable..so, maybe in the winter when they are hibernating might be best time for me.
Later someone has faded zzzzz
Steph – deer are creatures of habit. if they are in your yard now they will continue to come back. unless you can change their habits. there are ways to deter deer. fencing off a small veggie garden is not too difficult. and depending on the situation and how you want to deal with it there are other things that can be done.
One classic beauty!
lovely 🙂
