hiding in plain sight

it might as while be doing that.  this flower came to the garden late this spring.  the advice was keep it in the pot this growing season.   it had just been moved to the pot and a second transplant close on the heals of the first move is generally not a good idea.  the plant must have been tough and perhaps it was a TLT (not TLC) tender loving transplant.  either way the plant grew and bloomed like it had not been moved.  there are seeds from several crosses and plans for more crosses next year.  the plant – Vertical Horizon is a 36 inch 91 cm tall scape with a 6 in 15 cm bloom.  and it is a patterned bloom.  two images…  and yes it was hiding in plain sight.  i walked by it every day.  so how did it not get to this page much sooner ?
