g is for green

a yellow flower.   and yet it is named Green Lines.   some daylilies are named straight forward.  others are named from whimsy and other directions.   and somewhere somewhen there is a person that finds a match in name, or shape, or colors.  some daylily for them.  there is variety to be found.  four images…

      I think the name comes from the two green lines coming out of the throat and half way up the petals. It isn’t always on every petal. However once you see it you will see it in all of the pictures. And who knows I might even see it better in the garden next summer. Because until now I had not…
