abc

these are the three siblings.  they are from the same cross.  seeds out of the same pod.  similar in many ways and unique in other ways.  last year they all bloomed about the same time.  this year like many other plants they bloomed on separate schedules.  red first, poly chrome yellow and peach came second.  and when the other two were mostly done then the orange started blooming.  the red is shorter.  the other two about the same height.  and in terms of growth the orange increased the most.  it has the most fans ( dividable plant sections) and it put up the most bloom scapes.  so here they are  13-011 (12-0727-003 Monster x Lavender Branch) x Sky Captain plants a, b, and c.  three images…

Amzing the diversity you got. All re lovely. No wonder human parents often wonder why their children are so different from themselves. Nature seems to push for diversity.

thanks angela ! it makes me wonder – if i had room and had made a longer cross what else would we have seen. you are right – one way or another no two are the same. and in this case it is some of the prettiest diversity.
