looking for the expected is easy.  i have seen that before.  it looks like this.  or just a little different and not too much different.  so how easy is it to see the unexpected ?   looking for the usual characteristics and they are not there.  okay keep on moving.  keep on looking for the same.  did i just see that ?   did i just ignore that ?  what did i just see ?  i knew enough to take a picture.  did i know enough to flag the flower ?   did i know enough that is something i just might want to come back to ?   something to examine and get a better idea of just what it might be ?  perhaps set some reference points and develop a context ?  four images…  and for those whose visual acuity works at a different level a bit of explanation.  this flower has medium shade purple petals.  the center – the throat is a green core blending into yellow.  the eyezone is sort of unusual pastel rainbow.  a chalky purple fading to grey and then to a warmer reddish color that gradually blends into the yellow of the throat.  at least that is my second perception of this flower.  more perceptions to follow.  the cross 14-079 12-110 Anna Mel(NR) x Coburg Preview) x (B110-A Tet Skinwalker) x Morticia) x Apatosaurus
