    How long has your Talon been in place ? It has been a very reliable plant here. I fertilize when I plant or move a plant. So I would say mine has not been fertilized for 10 years. The picture was from last summer. Of course you are dealing with a more challenging growing environment. I hope you garden and Talon bloom beautifully for you this summer.

        Do you mulch around your plants ? That would help retain the soil moisture. You can also add coffee grounds as both mulch as both a mulching and soil fertilizer throughout the growing season.
