we had the bird feeder inspected today. the cooper’s hawk stopped by to see if he could join the gang for lunch. he actually waited around for a good ten minutes and no else wanted to join him for lunch. no one. not even the squirrel sitting with the cooper in the tree. go figure that squirrel did not move the whole time the hawk was there. and without the bird feeder there will be none of this drama come summer. … did you find the squirrel ?
Yessssss I saw him! what amazing moment you captured. Thank you dear John, have a nice day, Love, nia
Beautiful hawk and such a cute clever squirrel 🙂
I found the squirrel. We have actually seen one of our squirrels chase a hawk out of the tree. “Be gone!”
The tail is the giveaway. Great picture.
Yes, can just see it’s tail but well camouflaged! Great moment.
You captured the perfect shot!!
I am pretty sure that I found the squirrel, up in the left corner of the tree, between the crack of the two limbs to the right. Tried to copy and paste my photo, but, it will not paste in this comment box.
Cool photo! Thanks for the challenge!
You found it. Now I know how one gets a squirrel to sit still for 10 plus minutes. I did not realize it was there until after the hawk flew off. And I had to check the picture to make sure…
