today was a day for emptying the compost pile. and filling the bin of composted dirt. and harvesting seeds. and removing plants from the garden. tomorrow the emptying of one pile will finish. and more plants will be removed.

Dan – when I retired I took a vow to make puns to share then with people. And to make the world groan wiser. So you do not have to apologize for things that hap-pun like that. As for the mulch I forgot to mention that. I usually rake that out of the way before I dig. Thanks ! PS how many bags of mulch can be stuffed into an Equinox SUV ? Usually about 20.

work work work ‘Stop to sniff the Day’s’ now & then 😉 If your clumping I could use a handful of assorted tubbers in an envelope. 💲 willing to pay all costs.

I got your note. I am in the middle of other moves and I most likely won’t be done until it is rather late in the season. And it might be too late to send them then. I am not breaking up clumps at the moment. I am taking out established plants and moving selected seedlings in their place. I might have left over seedlings in the spring that you might take. I will not know any details about the individual plants at that point – color, height, etc. Where are you at ? Contact me at hricjd@gmail.com if you are interested.

We live in N.E. Tennessee. The 5 or 6 Day’s that flourished for ten yrs, have been dying off the last two seasons! I might have used to much spent cat litter 😉 Am in the process of re-establishing the soil with sand, ‘Mirical Gro’ potting soil and ⤵️

I am an experimenter so any tubers or seeds are OK for afternoon sun location.
