connect

what ? dots. when i am in the garden there are lots of flowers blooming. sometimes seeing two flowers it becomes obvious that they belong together. sometimes seeing two flowers in pictures or seeing one flower the second flower comes to mind. it is a process connecting the dots. the right dots out of the other 1000 or so dots blooming that day. some days one or the other dot is not in bloom. and you have to wait another day. or choose other dots to connect. some things are a patient steady walk. at least dots the plan…

I’ve never met a daylily I didn’t love. At our recent sale, we had some gorgeous specimens, but a lot of folks don’t buy them because they have deer who eat them like salad. I’m glad the deer don’t come in that close most of the time. 🙂

They do visit. It is a training battle. They are creatures of habit. So I try to keep their habits out of the yard. So far it is mostly working.
