this is about the fifth daylily flower to bloom in the garden as the new summer unfolds. all but one have been seedlings from Stella’s Ruffled Fingers. this one is no exception. and there are more cousins and siblings waiting to follow. this is the steadiest start yet. usually there are gaps of several days waiting for the next bloom. call me spoiled. it feels like the daylilies are lining up and they do not want any gaps either…

      The purple one is a larkspur. Usually they are all purple. A few are pink. And some of those are pink with purple streaks and or freckles. Glad you enjoy it !

      The garden fairies were hoping you would notice. And they said the SLR is better than the cell phone on those close ups. those flowers are nearly as tiny as the fairies.
