the first marker for autumn has arrived. bloom is dwindling each day. not quite gone. becoming less and less. seed collection is happening. enough envelopes that there should be many crosses to choose for planting. and so another cycle starts to come full. and in not too long another one will begin…

so nice and seasons are a changing – eh?
They are starting to change. The shadows are longer and days are growing shorter. Temps are cooling off a bit.

Mine have died back so much I’ve actually trimmed a few.
I am moving into the musical chairs portion of the garden season. Pulling out plants here and there to make room for this season’s keepers.
