tonight i am going to start with the new seedling. and then show its parents. and one set of the parents before that. the traits of one or more plants mays show up in some of the pictures. i just never know which ones will show up. i just have to wait and be surprised like everyone else…
first the seedling
then the first set of parents
and the grand parents on one side.
oops and the grandparents on the other side. these are the parents of Venus of Willendorf
So nice to see the family resemblance.
I think I will find several before I am done. There are two siblings to this seedling. Each with their own look.
What an amazing journey.
Thanks Dan. I wonder if I could train them to send a few more post cards. Because when I go looking for snapshots there are usually a few missing. It is interesting to put together some of the pieces.
I am continually amazed at the information you have in your “Archives”
Could you imagine storing images on punch cards ?
Hahaha – I have to do some math on that, John. A 5mb image would require about 70,000 cards. If I recall correctly, there were ~2,000 in a box. I guess you’d need a hand truck.
Something outrageous like that.
It’s like looking at a family album, John
This is most extraordinary. How do can you tell who is who, after so many generations?
I must say, Rigamarole is one chic grandma (I think she dyes her hair), while Little Rainbow is more down to earth 🙂 Miss Marple style.
Gorgeous 🙂 Thank you!
I do have to check the notes. Frequently. Thanks.
A true genealogy, John!
