why keep crossing one plant to another ? one answer would be to find something a little bit new. something that suits one’s likes a little bit better. like this flower. Substantial Evidence. it has a big yellow eye. the flower opens wide and flat at the center. i will have check if the outer edge of the petals recurve regularly. and it has a firmer rather than a floppier petal. so we cross. and so we see what it can bring to the new seeds. what it brings to new flowers…

Lovely, I like the yellow lilies best, I think. I have several, each different, but I never paid much attention to them until we moved the lilies up near the front of the house. Very pretty, each one.
