i know the two flowers that went into this. neither one is skinny. so how did this end up here ? the genes will surprise me constantly. still this is a good day. the sky was blue. things are growing. it was warm. and the raspberry bed and the seedlings got fertilized today. and in a couple of days there will be time to donate platelets at the local blood organization. there are much worse ways to spend a few hours. both in the garden and donating. and the raspberry bed is coming back quite nicely. the rebuild replant is a success. a picture will be needed …
This beauty is filled with a spirit dance
the genetics will trip you up every now and then, but the result is this beauty
They surprise me more often and I count that as a good thing. From what I have been told and seen they are complex enough to keep us amused for a long time to come. Thanks beth.
Applause on your donation, and here’s hoping your raspberry bed provides a good harvest. I made a raspberry custard pie this week from our frozen supply.
The donation is pretty much a regular thing every two weeks. There are people in need. Our raspberries usually end up in jam and a little bit in bounce. Thanks Judy.
I had to look up raspberry bounce, but it sounds like it would be mighty enjoyable. Drink up. 🙂
Raspberry bounce is filed right next to chicken soup as a cure all. Small potent dose like brandy.
Always good to throw in a raspberry and donation.
Incredible genetics and spirit!
The genetics continue to amaze me. Just when I think I am beginning to understand they throw me a new curve. Thanks
