yes we are still firmly at twiddle. however other things are happening. the first batch of seeds have been planted. carnation poppies are in bloom. and more and more scapes are rising up… there was supposed to be one gratuitous daylily from last summer. however the media library twiddled too… and once posted i was able to go back into the media library and include a gratuitous flower. un-twiddle. sort of un-twiddle…

The weather will help a lot for your flowers to bloom. The magnificent photos tell us that it will be so. Life is dressed in colors. A big hug.

I won’t even pretend to understand the difficult process of getting to your beautiful gardens. I only know the flowers bring me joy, so thank you for sharing. The flower shown is gloriously grateful for growing in your garden.

Judy – It really starts with the seed sorting. All of the envelopes with individual crosses go into a spreadsheet and get sorted by priority, ploidy, and names. I end up with about 300 diploid seeds and 300 tetraploid seeds that are the crosses I most want to plant. The envelopes are all sorted in order. And then the selected crosses are pulled out and placed in box for planting. The short plants like Stella’s Ruffled Fingers seedlings are planted up front. Otherwise the taller seedlings would crowd them out from the light.

Indeed. Hard won progress. What I can’t seem to figure out is if the ground is no farther away what happened to getting back up? Because up as in getting back up is much farther away these days.
