Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “inspire/aspire/expire.” Use them in any form you like. Use one, use two or use them all if you want. If you use two, you get bonus points! If you use all three, Cheryl will put your next drink on David’s tab. Enjoy!
inspire it is the gift of a flower. a gift of hope when hope might be wavering. a momentary gift. yet perhaps a moment to go on with the blessing of hope. aspire to share hope. aspire to share it with a perfect stranger. perfect if in no other way except that they might need a little hope now. the need for hope is fleeting. it does not wait. fleeting like a daylily. it has a built in clock. it opens and in the space of a day it shares its beauty. its message of hope. and it expires. share hope before it expires…
Wonderful. I am inspired by your gardens. I aspire to have planters full of flowers before I expire.
Thanks Lauren. I know the will be lovely !
Last week a local day lily farm contacted me about a donation for the MG’s plant sale. Little did I know I would fill my truck. You would have smiled. 🙂
That is wonderful Judy.
wonderful use of both of these words – perfect example
Thanks beth !
I almost forgot – bonus points and a drink on David are yours!
Thanks for a message of hope, John, and for sharing your lovely daylilies.
lovely flower, wise and pleasant notes. 🙂
Lovely and uplifting in a time when many are trying so hard to clutch to a fragment of hope. What wonderful words of renewal.
Excellent use of the prompt, John
Thanks John.
On a day when I’m doing homework for my horticultural therapy course, your words of hope are greatly appreciated.
