there are points in time. and there are those points in time that exist in the garden. can a point in time get more than a glance ? can it be observed in depth ? inspected ? this flower is dark. and light. dark purple red purple petals with some curl. a strong white midrib that starts at the base of the petal and narrows and fades into the tip of the petal. lighter purple red sepals with a white edge with a stronger white and yellow throat. more dominant than the throat on the petals. a flower that lives in sunlight yet has the qualities of night. perhaps that is why its name is Creature of the Night…
