there is so much sunlight in this picture it is difficult to see the rain drops on the petals. today there was sunlight. however the duration of sunlight – the hours of sunlight – was short. it was the shortest day of the year. it is the solstice. tomorrow the days start getting longer…

Pretty dainty flower…at first I thought you took the picture today. Sorry, I’m not feeling so hot…I’ve had my vaccines and booster, hope its just a bit of headache etc. Have a good Christmas if I don’t chat with you before. Bob Evans is cooking this year….giving me the first day off in decades. 😊
