classic winter has set in. we had lake effect snow this morning. it was below freezing all day. that was before the wind chill kicked in to help keep things cold. so if you a sick of winter this is a flower of hope. spring will get here. not right away still it will get here.

she shares the shiny hope of a sooner, rather than later, spring
Thanks Lauren. By the end of this week I may be hoping for that sooner part. Though I doubt it will make a bit of difference. As long as spring gets here on time that will be just fine. Thanks
Nature does take its own time.

Not sick of winter yet, John, but I do come here for glimpses of spring. This is a good one.
I certainly should not be sick of winter yet. It is only mid January. I guess I have been spoiled by the last couple of winters. We had been dodging the worst of it. This last week our dodging has mostly been off. It has come in cold and snowy. The good news out of that is Lake Erie may actually freeze over before mid February. Now that would be something of a pleasant surprise. Turn off the cloud machine. There is a bright side to everything if we just look. I will take that glimpse of spring gladly. Thanks Dan.
The flower of hope.
Precisely and succinctly. Thanks John
