this seedling has taken a while to be ready. part of that is my garden is often too crowded. the plants compete with each other for the light. often that means the plant or plants development is held back. finally this one has enough energy to show just what it can do. the bloom rides on a 40 inch 101 cm scape. the flower is in the 9 inch 23 cm range. and the next bloom will be a poly 4 petals and 4 sepals. now is its time to shine…

9″ is a pretty big pretty
Dinner plate size. And it has 3 more scapes coming up. So it should be quite a nice showing.
It is quarter to shine, so yes, it is time.
