I like the way this one has turned out. It is still maturing so there is more observation to do. And seeing what is blooming to cross with it in this mixed up year. Glad you enjoy it Susan ! Thanks
I confess to not being sure how much I liked/understood, the benefits of ruffles – but oh, as I follow your posts, how I come to think, “oh, another pretty one with those ruffles!” 😀
You, we, and all are free to choose the embellishments or lack there of which pleases one most. Thanks Jo. Glad you enjoy the flowers. There are bubbles and teeth that go way beyond ruffles. Though not very many in my garden. They are all pretty. Not all of them need to be either my or your cup of tea. Thanks
It wasn’t my intent to naysay or say we all like the same things – I just was commenting with feedback “Well, first time I remember, in following you, when the ruffle thingee was highlighted? i just wasn’t certain why/how it was important or anything – but, as time goes by? Don’t I start looking at the pictures and thinking “Ah – – look at that one! fat petals, thin ones, ruffled ones, straight ones, twisted ones? Look at the stars/lines of color that may/may not have come from this parent or that – man! I never knew, before, day lillies came in so many, many colors, shapes and sizes and again….How On EARTH! Do they keep track of it all when they often post about ‘oops! over in this area – needs moved – well this just showed up!” etc. 😀 Sorry I mis-worded my comment! 😀 You amaze me, over and over – just in what you do/post/keep track of – even when you’re saying, “oops, or running behind or gotta get this saved/moved’ etc. 😀
Absolutely gorgeous!

Jo I was basically agreeing with you. Anyone can like what they like here. Thanks for your comments.

Said with a dash of élan… or was it leian? What ever we need some drams of linguistic sauce!
Three drams full.
