this one is a mid size flower. and i will be puzzled for a while because one of the parents usually keeps things about the same size or it makes them bigger. so this should be the part where the daylily mantra is repeated. the genetics are complex. they will keep you on your toes. so be sure to put on your tutu before heading to the garden…

Our red daylilies are either in too much shade since we got a bigger grill, or they need dividing. Probably a combination.
