most pollen is a golden yellow. sometimes a plant will have white or extremely pale yellow pollen. the general rule of thumb is that white pollen is sterile. it is one of those things that if you are persistent you can try the white pollen and there is a slight chance it will work. slight. however on any other measure this purple flower looks well exciting. so golden pollen from another flower will work just fine. oh and if you look real close there is a little wasp that thinks the white pollen tastes just fine…
