forms

watching a new flower grow is pretty much a case of watching it fill out its forms. or more properly its individual form. not paper work forms. the form it grows out and fills. like this flower. yes the petals are longer. do they extend to their full length ? or do they curl under ? is the flower fertile ? does the pollen set seed on other flowers ? does the pollen from other flowers set seed on this flower ? all of these observations take time. time not just a day, not just a day, not even just a summer. as these and other questions are eventually answered a complete picture eventually develops and the overall quality of the flower is revealed…
