light

this flower came out of the seedling bed this past fall. there it got less than the ideal amount of light. it was competing with trees. and surprise the trees won. they easily, branchily, and handily out reached it for the sunlight. i am looking to see what this plant does with more sunlight…

too many

well not really too many. in fact about now it is just about right. or i could wait till the end of june to see them in the yard. i think these will have to do for now. january and february may be long months. and they do not last forever. and with patience these guys will be back soon enough…

chalk eye

i love the chalk eyezone on this pink seedling. what i wish for is to keep the chalk eye and put it on longer skinnier petals. in pink of course. of course mother nature will laugh. and until i try i will never know. so go for it…
