the picture is opening soon. it is winter out in the garden. twenty degrees fahrenheit as i write. and that’s the last rhyme for tonight. the other rime is out in the garden. now that picture. some would say it is unbalanced. and visually that might be accurate. photographically the flower is very much balanced in mid process of opening. one petal is still unfolding from bud into bloom. and the pollen cases are just beginning to split open and reveal their contents to the bees and other insects. so in terms of the bloom it is opening soon and balanced. four images…
