do i need to say more ?  perhaps.  can the saying be in the seeing ?  well there is a reason for words.  can the saying come before the seeing ?   sometimes that is best not done.  sometimes it takes a while to see.  and a while longer to put the seeing into saying.  saying that paces itself with seeing and comprehending.  rather than jumping to half the explanation.  three images…

this one should be a cross of Bagana and Venus of Willendorf.  i like the red with the green throat.  how it came to be red puzzles me.  Bagana is orange and Venus of Willendorf is purple.  then again why should i deprive the daylilies the fun of perplexing my expectations.  either way i do like the look.  it is lanky.  it dances.  three images…

another seedling.  actually two from the same cross.  the one in back is a much lighter shade of purple.  the one in front has variations in how much purple overlays the yellow throat.  the three petals in front have more purple.  the three sepals in back have a cleaner more extensive yellow throat.  since this is the first year of bloom the flower patterns and color may shift and have a slightly different look next year.  so we shall just sit back and watch.  after judiciously placing a flag on the flower in question.  one that says keep watching me !  four images…

Purple, pinched, twisted and curly

With a title like that there should be the all too frequent …. why that’s unnatural.
