why are all the daylilies on the compost pile ? well not all the daylilies are on the compost pile. however a lot of daylilies are there. all of the old spent blooms and everything that was blooming friday are on the compost pile. why ? because tomorrow morning the garden will all be fresh blooms that opened overnight. no spent blooms from today. clean clean clean pretty blooms and nothing else. the garden will be ready for garden walk. and my hands will not, repeat not have a ton of fresh daylily ink on them. bring on the garden walk…
