and distractions. is spring a distraction ? i will vote that it is a pleasant one and just move along. things are still ahead of schedule out in the garden. daffodils are blooming and there are buds on the lilac bush. between the various medical appointments getting back on a ‘normal’ posting schedule for the blog is in flux. of late the body says ‘tired’ and the the late night posts may be a thing of the past. adjust, adjust, adjust. so here is a ‘late’ noon post for today…

I can understand you dear John, same changes for me too, I hate to lose my routine, but as you said, adjust, adjust… As always nice to be here in your colourful garden, what a beautiful gardeb. Thank you, Love, nia

I hope your strength returns in the days to come, John. I am also “itching” for spring, for the buying and planting of flowers and watching if the perennial garden my neighbor and I planted will return to its initial garden. We are still fighting with the bunnies, who have already chewed down the tulip greens, so we will have to fence in everything or hire the feral cat to chase them away.

Thanks for the good wishes. The bunnies here are mostly trained to eat the left over crocuses, grass, and clover. They seldom go after the tulips. The deer are another story. Time to get out the shredded chicken feathers.
